She studied and worked with top doctors in the fields of Diabetes, gynecology, and classical herbology while in China.
This has given Dr. Whitehead a solid foundation in Eastern Medicine and has led her to keep learning throughout her practice. She is currently pursuing certification in Functional Medicine.
One of her most treasured memories is practicing Tai Qi and Qi Gong with the Kung Fu coach of China’s Olympic Gold Medal team in the bamboo forest on Mount Emei Shan. When she's not in the forest she spends time reading, soaking up her cats and dog and traveling spontaneously. Most of all she enjoys time with her daughter Sage, hiking and traveling.
